Publishing a useful link can generate qualified visits. When publisher earnings are enabled, Linkshortner credits those visits at the rate shown on the Earnings page. Here is how to read the process.

Starts are not earnings

A visitor must complete the entire four-step journey before a visit can qualify. Incomplete journeys do not earn a credit. The owner's own visits, detected bots, and repeat visits to the same link within 24 hours are also excluded.

The rate is expressed per 1,000 qualified visits. Small credits are stored with more precision than the two decimal places shown in currency summaries, so fractional cents are not lost simply because an individual visit has a very small value.

Three balances worth understanding

Lifetime earnings shows the sum of credited earning entries. Available balance is the amount remaining after withdrawal reservations and any documented adjustments. Pending withdrawals shows funds that have been requested but have not yet been paid or returned.

Estimated earnings are subject to traffic review. A large number of starts does not promise a particular payout, and buying artificial traffic is not allowed.

Requesting a withdrawal

Once the available balance reaches the current minimum, choose a supported payout method and enter accurate payment details. The requested amount is reserved immediately so it cannot be spent in another request.

An administrator reviews the request. If it is rejected, the reserved amount returns to your available balance with a ledger entry. If a transfer is completed, the administrator marks the request paid and attaches private payment evidence. Your Earnings page shows the status and any review note.

Public payment records are optional

You can choose to share a limited public record of a completed payout. It includes only your first initial, the amount, method, date, and a short record identifier. Your account details and original proof document remain private. You can withdraw this consent from your workspace later.

Keep your expectations practical

Earnings are not guaranteed and depend on qualified traffic, the rate in effect, review, and payment-provider availability. Read the current Terms and contact support if a balance or status does not match what you expect.

Availability is a setting, not a promise

The publisher visit-reward program is optional and is disabled in the site's default configuration. The current Earnings page shows whether new credits are enabled. A displayed example rate does not mean a program is operating, and it is not a guarantee that a visitor or publisher will receive money.

The site operator determines whether there is a funded program, which payout methods are supported, and how requests are reviewed. Ask support if you need clarification before making a business decision based on an earning estimate.

Rewards are not Google ad revenue sharing

The application does not count ad impressions or ad clicks as earning events. No visitor is paid to view or click a Google advertisement. The four-step destination pages contain no Google advertising, and the application prevents Google display advertising and the optional visit-reward program from being enabled together.

If a website operator offers a separately funded publisher arrangement, its terms and funding are the operator's responsibility. A publisher should not buy clicks, use automated visits, operate a click exchange, or mislead people about the resource behind a link.

Follow a hypothetical balance calculation

Suppose a publisher has an available balance of $12 and submits a $5 withdrawal. These are explanatory example amounts, not a record of a real payment. The request reserves $5, leaving $7 available while the request is pending.

If an administrator rejects the request, the application creates a refund entry for the reserved $5. The available balance returns to $12. If an external transfer is completed instead, the administrator records the paid status and attaches proof; the same amount is not subtracted a second time.

This is why available balance and total paid are separate values. A request changes the availability of funds before it becomes a recorded transfer. Reading only the lifetime earning total can hide that distinction.

What a receipt does and does not establish

A submitted membership receipt is evidence for a person to review. It does not automatically prove that the operator received the transfer, and the application does not confirm an external bank transfer merely by accepting an image.

Similarly, a withdrawal marked paid means an administrator has recorded an external transfer and attached private evidence. If the transfer has not reached the expected account, contact support with the request identifier. Do not post full bank details or private receipts in a public comment or article.

Keep payout details current

Enter the information required for the selected method and double-check it before submitting a request. For a bank transfer, this may include an account holder name and routing details; for another provider it may be an email address or account identifier. Requirements vary by method and location.

The website stores these details privately for administrators to process the request. Your public-payout setting never publishes the original receipt or destination account. You can revoke permission to display the limited public record later from your workspace.

Plan purchases are a different transaction

A paid membership gives you a fixed access period with its advertised link and analytics limits. It is not an investment in the publisher program and does not guarantee earning credits. Do not purchase a plan solely because you assume it will produce a certain return.

Keep membership references and payout references distinct when contacting support. Giving the right identifier, date, and amount helps the operator find the relevant record and explain the next step without exposing unnecessary personal information.
